Fifth Chakra – Vishuddha, विशुद्ध "especially pure", "Throat Chakra"

Sixteen Petal Lotus, Knowledge
Element: Sound, Color: Purple, Syllable: हं haṃLocated at the throat region, near the spine, with its activation point in the pit of the throat, it rules our spiritual energies; it's a purification center, chakra of creativity and expression, speaking and siddhis.
Associated Chakras
Lalana chakra – closely related to Vishuddha, it is located in the roof of the mouth; described as having 12 red or white petals.
Inside is a red circular moon region, which acts as a reservoir for the nectar Amrit. When Vishuddha is inactive, this nectar is allowed to run downwards into Manipura and consumed, resulting in physical degeneration. Through practices such as khechari mudra (the tongue lock; tongue is folded back and into the cavity toward the skull, the tip touching the uvula and eyes fix on the spot between the eyebrows), the nectar can be made to enter Vishuddha, where it is purified, and becomes a nectar of immortality.
MEDITATION:
Fifth chakra is clear, I have good communication, expression, creativity, inspiration, and positive interactions with others. I speak with clarity and conviction. My metabolism is healthy, cholesterol levels are good, I have vital energy, and I feel strong physically and psychologically. I'm inspired to express my higher self, and have life enriched by creative expression. My relationships are based on truthful communication and true intimacy.
