I am
First Chakra – Muladhara, मूलाधार "root and basis of existence", "Foundation" Four Petal Lotus, Evolution, Physical
Element: Earth, Color: Red, Syllable: लं laṃ (Lam)
Located at the base of the spine near the coccygeal plexus (tailbone), first chakra rules our physical energies; it's a foundation of the "energy body", the root chakra that aids us in our everyday survival.
Seat Of Kundalini
In the center of the square, below the seed syllable, is a deep red inverted triangle. The Kndalini Shakti is said to sleep here, waiting to be aroused and brought back up to Brahman, the source from which it originated. It is represented by a snake wrapped three and a half times around a smoky grey lingam.
Muladhara is considered the foundation of the "energy body". Yogic systems stress the importance of stabilizing this chakra.
Kundalini awakening begins here. It is also known as the seat of the "red bindu," or subtle drop, which rises up to the "white bindu" in the head to unite the feminine and masculine energies, the Shakti and Shiva.

In Vajrayana system first two chakras are positioned on the sexual organ — in the middle near the tip, and the tip of the sexual organ itself. These chakras are extremely important in the highest tantric sexual practices, and generating bliss.
The red bindu drop, called the red bodhicitta, is not located here, but instead at the navel wheel (Manipura).
MEDITATION:
First chakra is clear,
I feel deeply rooted, secure, grounded, and stable. I can use good "common sense" to
balance my basic activities, my finances, as well as my everyday responsibilities, and still
initiate new activities and interests. My eliminatory system functions
well, neural activity in my legs and feet is healthy, and my ability
to initiate sexual encounters is comfortable and natural. My root chakra
is the home of Kundalini, the Sleeping Serpent. When this chakra
is clear and balanced, "the Goddess Kundalini Shakti can awaken, and
begin her gradual rise up towards reunion with Divine Lord Shiva (bringing Enlightenment)".
